The Legacy Standard Bible.
In the introduction they tell us the following things -
1. “This Legacy Standard Bible has worked to uphold the style and translational choices of the NASB as much as possible. Even more, it has endeavored to follow through on the NASB’s stated intent to be true to the original Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek.”
Comment. Neither John MacArthur nor any of the men who put this thing together have seen or read “the original Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek” a day in their lives. They have never seen it, nor read it, nor can they show it to anybody else and they know it does not exist.
So right from the beginning they start off with a big lie. This is their Phantom Bible known as “the originals”.
2. “Greek Text: The Legacy Standard Bible has the benefit of a number of critical Greek texts in determining the best variant reading to translate. The 27th edition of Eberhard Nestle’s Novum Testamentum Graece, supplemented by the 28th edition in the General Epistles, serve as the base text.”
My Comments: In plain words the LSB is based on the same, ever changing, Vatican supervised Critical Greek text as are the modern Catholic versions like the St. Joseph New American bible, the New Jerusalem bible and the Jehovah Witness New World Translation.
However, not even this statement of theirs is entirely true. The LSB includes some 16 whole verses and other sections of Scripture that are not found in the Critical Greek text and that the NASB 2020 edition has now eliminated. All these verses are found in the Reformation bibles in languages, but versions like the ESV, NET and NIV omit them all.
So, are they inspired Scripture or not? If they are, then they should be in the text of the Bible. If they are not, then they should be omitted.
Undeniable Proof the ESV, LSB, NIV, NASB, Holman Standard, NET, Jehovah Witness NWT etc. are the new "Vatican Versions"
Whole Verses Found in the NASB 1995 edition that are Omitted in the NASB 2020 edition but the Legacy Standard Bible puts them back in, but in brackets. All these verses are omitted from the TEXT of the Vatican supervised UBS/Nestle-Aland Critical Greek editions.
LSB 2021, NASB 1995 - Matthew 6:13 - And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil. [For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.’]
NASB 2020 - And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
See The Lord's Prayer - Is your Bible a Vatican Version?
LSB 2021, NASB 1995 - Matthew 17:21 - [But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.”]
NASB 2020 - blank - completely omits.
LSB 2021, NASB 1995 - Matthew 18:11 - [For the Son of Man has come to save that which was lost.]
NASB 2020 - completely omits.

LSB 2021, NASB 1995 - Matthew 23:14 - [Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, because you devour widows’ houses, and for a pretense you make long prayers; therefore you will receive greater condemnation.]
NASB 2020 - completely omits.
LSB 2021, NASB 1995 - Mark 7:16 - [If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear.”]
NASB 2020 - completely omits.
Comparative Study of the Gospel of Mark.
LSB 2021, NASB 1995 - Mark 9:44 and Mark 9:46 - [where their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched.]
NASB 2020 - completely omits both verses.
Even though then NASB 2020 has now omitted all these previous verses which have basically the same textual support as does Mark 11:26, yet the NASB 2020 still retains this verse. The only consistency in their “science” of textual criticism, is that they are consistently inconsistent.
LSB 2021, NASB 1995 and 2020 - Mark 11:26 - [But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father who is in heaven forgive your transgressions.”]
LSB 2021, NASB 1995 - Mark 15:28 - [And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “And He was numbered with transgressors.”]
NASB 2020 - completely omits. Blank.
LSB 2021, NASB 1995 and 2020 all contain Luke 17:36. [Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other will be left.”]
The previous NASB editions of 1963 to 1972 entirely omitted the verse. But in 1977 and 1995 they included it in brackets and have done so again in 2020, though it has even less textual support than all those other entire verses they have now omitted.
This verse is still entirely omitted by the ASV, NIV, ESV, NET and ISV.
LSB 2021, NASB 1995 and 2020 all include Luke 23:17 - [Now he was obligated to release to them at the feast one prisoner.]
The NASB 1963, 1972 and 1973 editions omitted this verse, yet in 1977 they put it back in and it is still in the 2020 edition, though versions like the ESV, NIV, NET omit it.
LSB 2021, NASB 1995 - John 5:4 [for an angel of the Lord went down at certain seasons into the pool and stirred up the water; whoever then first, after the stirring up of the water, stepped in was made well from whatever disease with which he was afflicted.]
NASB 2020 now entirely omits the verse just like the ESV, NIV, NET, Jehovah Witness NWT and the modern Catholic versions -
LSB 2021, NASB 1995 - Acts 8:37 - [And Philip said, “If you believe with all your heart, you may.” And he answered and said, “I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.”]
LSB 2021, NASB 1995 - Acts 15:34 and Acts 28:29 are both included along with Acts 8:37.
Acts 15:34 - [But it seemed good to Silas to remain there.]
Acts 28:29 - [When he had spoken these words, the Jews departed, having a great dispute among themselves.]
NASB 2020 entirely omits all three verses.
Acts 8:37 - Is it inspired Scripture or not? Acts 15:34 and Acts 28:29
https://brandplucked.webs.com/acts8372829.htm
LSB 2021, NASB 1995 - Acts 24:6b to 24:8a - 6 And he even tried to desecrate the temple; and then we arrested him. WE WANTED TO JUDGE HIM ACCORDING TO OUR OWN LAW. BUT LYSIAS THE COMMANDER CAME ALONG, AND WITH MUCH VIOLENCE TOOK HIM OUT OF OUR HANDS, ORDERING HIS ACCUSERS TO COME BEFORE YOU. By examining him yourself concerning all these matters you will be able to ascertain the things of which we accuse him.”
(All the words in caps are now omitted in the 2020 NASB)
NASB 2020 - Acts 24:6-8 - 6 And he even tried to desecrate the temple, so indeed we arrested him. 8 By interrogating him yourself concerning all these matters, you will be able to ascertain the things of which we are accusing him.”
Acts 24:6-8 Is this inspired Scripture or not?
LSB 2021, NASB 1995 - Romans 16:24 - [The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.]
But now omitted in the NASB 2020 edition.
See why this verse, as all the others, is inspired Scripture and belongs in God’s Book.
Theological and Textual Problems with the Legacy Standard Bible.
1. Is it possible for man to deceive God? The LSB says Yes.
Psalms 78 tells us of Israel's rebellion and sin against their God and of his continued compassion towards them. One of the people's many recorded sins is found in v.36: "they did FLATTER him with their mouth, and lied unto him with their tongue."
We can flatter God - say all kinds of nice things about him yet not really mean them. God is not fooled by mans false words of adoration.
The Legacy Standard Bible says they DECEIVED Him with their mouth.” That, my Christian friend, is an impossibility. I hope you aren't deceived into thinking the LSB is the true Bible.
To see more on this verse - Can God be Deceived?
Is your Bible the truth of God.
Psalm 60:4 "Thou hast given a banner to them that fear thee, THAT IT MAY BE DISPLAYED BECAUSE OF THE TRUTH. Selah."
So read the Hebrew texts as well as the following Bible translations: Coverdale 1535, Bishops' Bible 1568, the Geneva Bible 1599, KJB , Youngs', Darby, the Revised Version of 1881, American Standard Version 1901, NASB 1963-1995, NKJV 1982, the Jewish translation of 1917 - “Thou hast given a banner to them that fear thee, THAT IT MAY BE DISPLAYED BECAUSE OF THE TRUTH. Selah.", the Complete Jewish Bible, the Orthodox Jewish Bible 2011, the KJV 21st Century and the Third Millenium Bible 1998.
The Spanish Sagradas Escrituras of 1569 and the Reina Valera 1995, and La Biblia de las Américas are the same as the KJB with "Has dado a los que te temen bandera que alcen por causa de la verdad. Selah". as does the French Martin 1744 and the Louis Segond of 1910 - “tu as donné une bannière à ceux qui te craignent, afin de l'élever en haut pour l'amour de ta vérité; Sélah.”, the Italian New Diodati of 1991 - “Ma ora tu hai dato a quelli che ti temono una bandiera, perch sia innalzata in favore della verit. (Sela)”, and the Portuguese A Biblia Sagrada and the Almeida Revista E Corrigida -”Deste um estandarte aos que te temem, para o arvorarem no alto, por causa da verdade. (Sel.)” and the Modern Greek Bible - "Εδωκας εις τους φοβουμενους σε σημαιαν, δια να υψονηται υπερ της αληθειας." = "You have given a sign (banner) to those who fear you to be lifted up because of the truth."
However, the Legacy Standard Bible rejects the Hebrew text and says:”You have given a banner to those who fear You, IN ORDER TO FLEE FROM THE BOW. Selah.”
While the NIV reads: - "But for those who fear you, you have raised a banner TO BE UNFURLED AGAINST THE BOW." The RSV, NRSV, ESV read much the same with: "Thou hast set up a banner for those who fear thee, TO RALLY TO IT FROM THE BOW.", but then in the RSV, NRSV footnotes tell us this totally different reading comes from "the Greek LXX, the Syriac and Jerome, but the Hebrew says “because of the truth”.
Well, not even their footnote is totally accurate. The copy of the Greek LXX I have says "given a TOKEN...that they might FLEE FROM THE BOW", while Lamsa's translation of the Syriac says the opposite with: "Thou hast WROUGHT A MIRACLE to them that reverence thee, SO THAT THEY NEED NOT FLEE FROM THE BOW."
Dan Wallace and Company’s NET version, as usual, has a totally messed up translation which says: “You have given your loyal followers a rallying flag, so that they might seek safety from the bow.”
The Holman Standard perversion says: "You have given a signal flag to those who fear You, so that THEY CAN FLEE BEFORE THE ARCHERS." Likewise all the Catholic versions - Douay-Rheims, Douay, St. Joseph NAB and the New Jerusalem 1985 have rejected the clear Hebrew text and have adopted “part of” the so called Greek Septuagint. The New Jerusalem reads: “You gave a signal to those who fear you TO LET THEM ESCAPE OUT OF RANGE OF THE BOW.”
These bogus bibles versions are significant in that TRUTH has disappeared, and God's people are now fleeing before the enemy!!
Is your righteousness the fine linen or your righteous acts?
King James Bible - Revelation 19:7-9 tells us again of the wedding feast. V.7 "the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white; FOR THE FINE LINEN IS THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF SAINTS."
LSB - And it was given to her to clothe herself in fine linen, bright and clean; for the fine linen is THE RIGHTEOUS ACTS OF THE SAINTS.
For a further development of the theology of this verse as it stands in the King James Bible please see my article here:
http://brandplucked.webs.com/rev198finelinen.htm
2 Peter 3:10 King James Bible - But the day of the Lord will come as a thief IN THE NIGHT; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein SHALL BE BURNED UP.
Legacy Standard Bible - “…the earth and its works will be FOUND OUT.”
What does that even mean?
See the confusion of the modern versions here -
2. KJB - 2 Peter 3:12 KJB - "Looking for and HASTING UNTO the coming of the day of God"
LSB - looking for and HASTENING THE COMING of the day of God,
We cannot speed up or make the day of God come any sooner than is already established and fixed by God down to the hour. See why the KJB got it right, and many others did not.
For a further development and explanation of the theology of this verse as it stands in the King James Bible please see my article here:

4. Stupid statement in the LSB - Psalms 10:4
In the KJB we read in Psalm 10:4 of a wicked man: "The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God; GOD IS NOT IN ALL HIS THOUGHTS."
In other words, in everything this man thinks, God never enters the picture.
But the LSB tells us: “ALL HIS THOUGHTS ARE, “THERE IS NO GOD.”
Not even the staunchest atheist walks around all day long thinking; "there is no god, there is no god, there is no god."
5. As a false witness will contradict himself; so too will a false bible. Hebrews 3 tells of the children of Israel who didn't believe God and hardened their hearts so as not to enter the promised land. Verse 16 says; "For some, when they had heard, did provoke; howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses."
Not all disbelieved God and provoked him. Caleb and Joshua believed God and are set forth as examples to follow.
However the LSB tells us - “For who provoked Him when they had heard? Indeed, did not all those who came out of Egypt led by Moses?”
See why the KJB got it right here -
6. Who Controls the World, God or Satan?
In 1 John 5:19 the KJB along with the Geneva, Tyndale, Young's and the Spanish of 1602 say: "And we know that we are of God, and THE WHOLE WORLD LIETH IN WICKEDNESS."
We live in a fallen world; it lies in sin; but God is still in control and ruling even though it may not appear that way. But the eye of faith sees his sovereignty and rejoices in this confidence.
The LSB tells us it is Satan. - “We know that we are of God, and that the whole world LIES IN THE POWER OF THE EVIL ONE.”
This false statement in the LSB contradicts numerous other Scriptures. See why the KJB got it right, as always.
For further discussion of who rules the world, please see -
7. 2 Peter 3:10. Here the LSB does NOT follow the Nestle-Aland 28th edition, nor does it read like the other Vatican Versions, but it is still based on the wrong Greek text.
The LSB says; “But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works WILL BE FOUND OUT.”
But the latest Nestle-Aland 28th edition actually says "and the earth also and the works in it SHALL NOT BE FOUND."
The King James Bible and all Reformation bibles read differently than either the LSB or the Nestle-Aland 28th.
It says: But the day of the Lord will come as a thief IN THE NIGHT; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein SHALL BE BURNED UP.

8. Acts 17:22 “too superstitious” or “very religious”?
Acts 17:22 KJB - "Then Paul stood in the midst of MARS' hill, and said, Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things YE ARE TOO SUPERSTITIOUS...whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you."
LSB - “Men of Athens, I observe that you are VERY RELIGIOUS in all respects.
See why the KJB is right, here -
9. Rejoice or Be Proud? Are Pride and Boasting Christian virtues?
Philippians 2:16 KJB - “that I may REJOICE in the day of Christ, THAT I HAVE NOT RUN IN VAIN, neither laboured in vain.”
LSB - holding fast the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I WILL HAVE REASON TO BOAST BECAUSE I DID NOT RUN IN VAIN nor labor in vain.
Galatians 6:4 KJB "Let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have REJOICING in himself alone."
LSB - But each one must examine his own work, and then HE WILL HAVE REASON FOR BOASTING IN REGARD TO HIMSELF alone, and not in regard to another.
James 1:9 KJB "Let the brother of low degree REJOICE in that he is exalted."
LSB - But the brother of humble circumstances IS TO BOAST in his high position;
10. Luke 2:14 KJB, NKJV - "on earth peace, GOOD WILL TOWARD MEN."
LSB - “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace among men WITH WHOM HE IS PLEASED.”
11. 2 Corinthians 2:17 "Corrupt" or "Peddle" the word of God?
King James Bible - ”For we are not as many, which CORRUPT the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ."
LSB - For we are not like many, PEDDLING the word of God, but as from sincerity, but as from God, in the sight of God, we speak in Christ.
12. Revelation 13:8 KJB - "And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him (the beast) whose names are not written in the book of life of THE LAMB SLAIN FROM THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD."
LSB - And all who dwell on the earth will worship him, everyone whose name has not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of THE LAMB WHO HAS BEEN SLAIN.
13. Did men WORSHIP the Lord Jesus Christ or just BOW BEFORE Him?
Matthew 8:2 KJB - And, behold, there came a leper and WORSHIPPED him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
LSB - And behold, a leper came to Him and was BOWING DOWN BEFORE Him, and said, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.”
14. Titus 2:10 Heretic or A Divisive Person?
According to the Modern Versions even Jesus Himself should be avoided because He was divisive; but He was not a heretic.
Titus 3:10 KJB - "A man that is an HERETIC after the first and second admonition reject; knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself."
Heretic - Wycliffe, Tyndale, Coverdale, Geneva Bible, Revised Version, Third Millennium Bible.
LSB - Reject A FACTIOUS MAN after a first and second warning
Factious = promoting dissension, divisive.
Titus 3:10 NKJV 1982 - "Reject A DIVISIVE MAN after the first and second admonition."
A Divisive Person - MEV, NKJV, NIV, NASB
The Legacy Standard Bible rejects many Hebrew readings.
Exodus 14:25 - "the LORD TOOK OFF their chariot wheels"
KJB - "And it came to pass that in the morning watch the LORD looked unto the host of the Egyptians...and troubled the host of the Egyptians, And TOOK OFF THEIR CHARIOT WHEELS, that they drave them heavily" Exodus 14:24-25
ESV - "And in the morning watch the LORD looked down on the Egyptian forces...CLOGGING their chariot wheels so that they drove heavily."
LSB, NASB - "At the morning watch, the LORD looked down on the army of the Egyptians...He CAUSED their chariot wheels TO SWERVE and He made them drive with difficulty"
NIV 1978 and 1984 editions - "He MADE THE WHEELS OF THEIR CHARIOTS TO COME OFF so that they had difficulty driving."
NIV 2011 edition - "He JAMMED the wheels of their chariots so that they had difficulty driving."
Footnote - "See Samaritan Pentateuch, Septuagint and Syriac; Masoretic Text REMOVED.
Exodus chapter 14 relates the event of the children of Israel crossing the Red Sea when God divided the waters. The Egyptians pursued after them and were drowned in the sea.
In Exodus 14: 24-25 we read: "And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the LORD looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians, And TOOK OFF their chariot wheels, that they drave them heavily."
"TOOK OFF their chariot wheels" is the reading of Tyndale 1530, Coverdale 1535 (smote the wheels from their chariots), Bishops' Bible 1568, the Geneva Bible 1599, the King James Holy Bible 1611, Rotherham's Emphasized bible 1902, the NKJV 1982, the Revised Version 1881, the ASV of 1901 "he TOOK OFF their chariot wheels" (the predecessor of the NASB), New Life Version 1969, the KJV 21st Century 1994, Third Millennium Bible 1998, the two Jewish translations of JPS 1917 and Hebrew Publishing Company 1936, Darby 1890, the Living Bible 1971 "the chariot wheels began coming off", Green's interlinear 1984, , the NIV 1978 and 1982 editions - "He made the wheels of their chariots COME OFF", A Conservative Version 2005, the Jubilee Bible 2010, New Heart English Bible 2010 - "He TOOK OFF their chariot wheels", Names of God Bible 2011, Lexham English Bible 2012, the 2012 Natural Israelite Bible - "He TOOK OFF their chariot wheels", and The Hebrew Names Version 2014.
Other Bibles that tell us that God "TOOK OFF the chariot wheels" are The Jewish Family Bible 1864, The Ancient Hebrew Bible 1907, The Word of Yah 1993, The Koster Scriptures 1998, God's First Truth 1999, The Sacred Scriptures Family of Yah 2001, the Bond Slave Version 2009, The Hebraic Transliteration Scripture 2010, The New European Version 2010, The Far Above All Translation 2011, The World English Bible 2012, The Interlinear Hebrew-Greek Scriptures 2012 (Mebust), The Biblos Bible 2013 - He TOOK OFF the chariot wheels", and The Modern English Version 2014.
Likewise the modern Jewish translation called the Judaica Press Tanach 2004 follows the Hebrew and agrees with the King James Bible saying: " And HE REMOVED THE WHEELS OF THEIR CHARIOTS, and He led them with heaviness, and the Egyptians said, Let me run away from the Israelites because the Lord is fighting for them against the Egyptians."
The Modern Greek Bible also follows the Hebrew text and agrees with the King James Bible. It says - "και εξεβαλε τους τροχους των αμαξων αυτων" = "and TOOK OFF the wheels of their chariots".
Foreign Language Bibles
Among foreign language bible that follow the Hebrew text and tell us that God "TOOK OFF the wheels" are the Spanish Sagradas Escrituras 1569, Cipriano de Valera 1602, the Reina Valeras 1909 - 2011 - "quitó las ruedas" = "TOOK OFF the wheels", the French Martin 1744 and French Ostervald 1996 - "Il ôta les roues de ses chariots, et fit qu'on les menait bien pesamment. " = "he TOOK OFF the wheels", and the Italian Nuova Riveduta 2006 - " Tolse le ruote dei loro carri e ne rese l’avanzata peasant" = "He TOOK OFF the wheels"
The Modern Greek Bible - “εξεβαλε τους τροχους των αμαξων αυτων” = “He TOOK OFF the wheels of their chariots”
However the "scholarly" LSB and NASB tell us: "He CAUSED their chariot wheels TO SWERVE".
This is also the reading of the Holman Christian Standard version 2009.
Now I've had the unpleasant experience of having my car wheels swerve on ice or snow, but thankfully I have never had them come off yet. You have to admit there is a difference between the Lord taking off their wheels and the Lord causing them to swerve.
The word used here is # 5493 soor and it means to remove or take away. It is used in Exodus 8:8 "TAKE AWAY the frogs"; in 8:31 "he REMOVED the swarms of flies", in 34:34 Moses TOOK OFF the vail", Genesis 41:42 "Pharoah TOOK OFF his ring" and in Genesis 8:13 "Noah REMOVED the covering of the ark".
the 7th day in Judges 14:15 (KJB, NKJV, RV, ASV, Douay-Rheims) or the 4th day (LSB, RSV, ESV, NASB, NIV, NET, St. Joseph NAB, Catholic New Jerusalem, Jehovah Witness NWT) or "the NEXT day" ISV (they just made this up!)
See why the KJB and the Hebrew texts are right -
Judges 18:30 Manasseh or Moses?
KJB - "And the children of Dan set up the graven image: and Jonathan, the son of Gershom, the son of MANASSEH, he and his sons were priests to the tribe of Dan until the day of the captivity of the land."
LSB (ESV, NIV, NET, Holman Standard, Catholic versions, Jehovah Witness NWT) - "And the people of Dan set up the carved image for themselves, and Jonathan the son of Gershom, son of MOSES, and his sons were priests to the tribe of the Danites until the day of the captivity of the land."
1 Samuel 13:1 Here we read: “Saul reigned ONE year; and when he had reigned TWO years over Israel, Saul chose him three thousand men of Israel.” reading - ONE/TWO years (NKJV, KJB, Geneva, Judaica Press Tanach, Spanish Reina Valera, Italian Diodati),
or 40/32 (NASB 1972-77) or 30/42 (LSB, NASB 1995, NIV), OR 30 years/ 40 years (NET) or _____years and.______and two years (RSV, NRSV, ESV, St. Joseph New American Bible 1970, Catholic New Jerusalem 1985), or "was 30 years old...ruled for 42 years" LSB, ISV, or even “32 years old...reigned for 22 years” in the 1989 Revised English Bible!
For a much fuller and in depth study on this verse, please see the article here -
Or whether 2 Samuel 21:8 reads Michal (Hebrew texts, KJB, NKJV, RV 1881, ASV 1901, Douay-Rheims) or Merab (LSB, RSV, NIV, NASB, ESV, NET, Holman, ISV, St. Joseph NAB, Catholic New Jerusalem)
2 Samuel 21:8 KJB - "and the five sons of MICHAL the daughter of Saul, whom she BROUGHT UP FOR Adriel..."
2 Samuel 21:8 - LSB, ESV, NIV, NASB - "and the five sons of MERAB, the daughter of Saul, whom she BORE TO Adriel..."
There is no error in the Hebrew text nor in the King James Bible. Here is why the KJB is right, as always -
Three or Thirty?
2 Samuel 23:18-19 KJB (Hebrew texts, Geneva, NKJV, NIV, NET, Holman) - “And Abishai, the brother of Joab, the son of Zeruiah, was chief among THREE. And he lifted up his spear against three hundred, and slew them, and had the name among three. Was he not most honourable of THREE? therefore he was their captain: howbeit he attained not unto the first three.
2 Samuel 23:18-19 - “…was chief of THE THIRTY…most renowned of THE THIRTY” LSB (RSV, NRSV, ESV, NASB)
1 Kings 5:11 “TWENTY measures” (Hebrew text, KJB, NASB, ASV, ISV) or “TWENTY THOUSAND baths” (NIV, LXX) “20,000 cors” (LSB, RSV, ESV, NET)?
King James Bible - “And Solomon gave Hiram twenty thousand measures of wheat for food TO HIS HOUSEHOLD, and TWENTY MEASURES of pure oil: thus gave Solomon to Hiram year by year.
LSB (ESV, RSV, NRSV, NIV, NET) - “while Solomon gave Hiram 20,000 core of wheat as food for his household, and 20,000 cors of beaten oil. Solomon gave this to Hiram year by year.” ESV Footnote 20,000 = Septuagint; 20 = Hebrew.
1 Chronicles 20:3 "he CUT THEM with saws" or "he PUT THEM TO WORK with saws"?
KJB - 1 Chronicles 20:3 - KJB (NASB) - “And he brought out the people that were in it, AND CUT THEM WITH SAWS, AND WITH HARROWS OF IRON, AND WITH AXES. Even so dealt David with all the cities of the children of Ammon. And David and all the people returned to Jerusalem.”
LSB, NKJV, NIV, ESV, Holman Standard, Jehovah Witness NWT - 1 Chronicles 20:3 - “And he brought out the people who were in it, and PUT THEM TO WORK WITH SAWS, WITH IRON PICKS, AND WITH AXES. So David did to all the cities of the people of Ammon.”
See why the KJB (and NASB) is right but the LSB, NKJV, NIV, ESV, NET, Holman Standard, modern Catholic versions and Jehovah Witness NWT rejected the Hebrew text.
or the 7th day in Judges 14:15 (KJB, NKJV, RV, ASV, Douay-Rheims) or the 4th day (LSB, RSV, ESV, NASB, NIV, NET, St. Joseph NAB, Catholic New Jerusalem, Jehovah Witness NWT) or "the NEXT day" ISV (they just made this up!)

How Fake bible Versions and false teachers Destroy a Clear Messianic Prophesy -
